American Express Offers Personal Savings Accounts

Available to both American Express Card members and to non-American Express Card consumers

American Express Bank, FSB, a depository institution insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and a part of the American Express family of companies, has launched a new personal savings deposit accounts service, designed to help consumers meet their savings goals.

Reportedly, the personal savings deposit accounts feature no monthly fees, no minimum balances with 24/7 account access via web or phone. These are available to both American Express Card members and to consumers who do not currently have an American Express Card.

Martin Murrell, vice president of direct deposits, American Express, said: “With the consumer savings rate at its highest level in more than a decade, we are pleased to offer new, convenient saving accounts, complete with the customer support that American Express is renowned for.”
